“I guess that depends on you,” she smiled. “Your room for sex or.....” she pulled out a manual to show him. “We can figure out how to make one of these,” she suggested. It was a drone manual.

Tonka grinned. “Well when your brothers are the ones that raise you.... I just end up deferring to them more than my parents. I’m still getting used to them.”

"Ah, shit. More refugees."
Ilia was following up behind his three comrades, but the loud observation echoed off the tunnel walls. He turned his attention fully ahead to see the passage forward clogged tight, save for the narrow pathway fenced off for Spartans to move in and out easily.
"What's happened now?" Another asked.
Dima and Sacha looked back towards him.
"I haven't heard anything," Ilia gave a shrug as he shifted his rifle to cradle it easily across the front of his shoulder, rather than on his back. The rest had all done the same. No one wanted to resort to violence, but every so often an unexpected rush of refugees led to tense situations at the gates. This crowd didn't seem particularly tense, but all the same they prepared for the worst.
They were cutting along the narrow path at a brisk pace when something paused Ilia. He thought he'd recognized a voice, and as he skimmed the crowd a familiar face caught his attention. Ilia hailed down the other three, warning him that he was breaking off before he hoped the chain and waded into the crowd toward Tonka Redford, "What are you doing here?" he asked with a frown.

Violet sat at the table for what felt like hours. She was on her second cigarette and tapping her jagged fingernails on the metal table. She knew this was an inconvenience but couldn’t they make their decision any faster?
Blowing out a huff of another breath of smoke she heard more boots pass the door as her nails tapped against the metal in a rhythm with the feet. She glanced toward the door, finally getting up to pace.
When the door did finally open it was a familiar face. “Finally someone I do know,” she said looking to Dagonet as she snubbed out her depleted cigarette.

For someone so terrified of violence, Patience always found herself most comfortable around violent instruments.
She didn't have her own place in Oberon. She was apprenticed to a gunsmith, an older man named Yaroslav. She didn't know much about him. He was really nice and didn't ask her uncomfortable questions. She liked working for him.
As much as she could like anything.
As usual, Paz was far too bundled up for environment, covering her shame with long, baggy clothes and wearing a skull cap that kept most of her hair out of the way of her work. A revolver sat in front of her, converted to a carbine. It wasn't loaded, but a part of Patience wished it was.
It was mostly done. Just needed some wooden furniture, but she could scavenge something off the out-of-service kalashes. For now, she'd move onto something else. Her attention turned to a near-finished Helsing with a defective feed system. Annoying. She didn't make flawed work, especially not in a place as dangerous as the Metro. She took the compressed-air gun, checking the air pump and examining the cylinders with an exasperated sigh.
Tonka had been trying to fix the generator for days while they waited for the woman Charlotte to come over from Polis. At least that's what her dad said. She was covered in grease with a black streak across her cheek and forehead when she heard someone come in the room. "I don't need anything to eat or drink. Leave me alone Seth," she said as she moved in closer to the thing.
When she finally glanced over her shoulder to see a cute boy she turned a dark red color. "I... I thought you were my brother," she admitted. "Who are you?" she asked him with her hands still deep in the generator.

Unfortunately for Red he didn't find the culprit that stole Tonka's necklace before he left Overon and moved on down the line. The man thought he was rather sneaky but didn't realize that the necklace was not only a symbol of Oberon but one that a few others would recognize.
The silhouetted wolf with the star was something Tonka had had and worn throughout her entire childhood in the Reich. It was a dangerous item to have let alone one to try to sell for bullets. The man wasn't aware of such dangers as he had his wares out at a station near Oberon. He saw the blonde girl walk up and he was more looking to see what he could steal from her and less of what she could buy from him.
@Ace
Alice was still dwindling as she lay there with Tonka stroking her hair telling her stories about her brothers.
It would be a whirlwind as Seth arrived at the gates with the Prussian blue and other medical supplies that Violet had weighted down her pack with. He was held at the gate to be sure that he was not bringing anything extra in as the medication was whisked away.

Once she was released from the infirmary Tonka began to connect more with her father. It felt good to her. She didn't remember him particularly well because she was so young but the things she did remember made her feel good to be around him.
So, to keep herself occupied and to not get mugged again she went to visit him instead of the market every day. On this particular day, when he escorted her back to her quarters Richie was waiting and he was packed with his stuff to leave. He glanced to Red and tightened his jaw. "Tatonka we need to talk," he glanced to Red again. "Alone," he said as he wrung his hands together.

It took Tonka a day before Richie convinced her it was fine and that she could go out that she'd be fine. He was trying to encourage her to become more independent. She knew how to protect herself and the station so far seemed safe enough. He even went so far as to follow her around for a while to prove to her that everything was fine.
When she finally said she was fine and he could go get some sleep he gave her a kiss on the temple before yawning and going to go rest in their temporary quarters. She was further down where people were trading than the man that had accused her the day before and that made her feel better about it.
Then suddenly her ears were ringing, she felt a throbbing in her head and she couldn't see. She didn't even know yet that she had hit the ground it had happened so fast.
What seemed like a few seconds at most was significantly more as she tried to push herself out of the ringing fog and will her body to move. By the time she had her hand to her head and was groaning the person that had done it was already disappeared into the crowd and no one saw exactly what happened, they just saw Tonka on the floor.
As she started to regain her footing she pulled her hand away from her head and it came back covered in blood. She reached to her shirt with her unbloodied hand placed it where she should have felt the necklace but it wasn't there, that's when she felt the stinging from it being ripped from her neck.
She barely held back a sob as she reached into the neck of her shirt to feel for it despite knowing full well in her mind that it was gone. A few people asked if she was alright and what had happened but she ignored them as she half stumbled back through the market intending to head back to quarters but taking the wrong turn in her disorientation and ending up where Red had said she could ask for him. Fighting back another sob she took in a deep breath. "Can you get Red for me? He said I could ask for him," she said instead of choosing to go back to quarters, to Richie and Seth. She wasn't sure they could do anything.
Hell, she wasn't sure Red could do anything either but this was his station so maybe he could.
@Dragon
After excusing herself from Seth's room she tentatively started to meander the station. She knew that casual browsing could get you in trouble so she stayed in the more densely trafficked areas. The market, the trade sections. She was carefully browsing things there and wandering a little aimlessly as she looked at what was available. Most things, like normal, were utilitarian. Things that helped you. but there were a few trinkets here and there.
As she wandered Tonka watched the people. It seemed tense there. Like there were issues. She was getting side-eyed, she assumed it was because she wasn't from this station and people were wary of her so she tried to keep her head down as she moved. She pulled out her necklace from her shirt, one her dad gave her for her fourth birthday just before everything went to hell, she ran the trinket back and forth in a nervous fashion.
It was as she was walking along that a man took her by the wrist and started to accuse her of stealing it. "Let go," she jerked back to pull her wrist free but when he didn't let go she kneed him in the groin so he doubled over. She only got a few steps back before she was being pulled in by guards but they weren't exactly rough but stern that she had to come with them and instead of making a bigger scene she just went with them figuring Seth or Richie likely would come explain it for her.
It wasn't until they were trying to take the necklace away from her that she kicked up any shit. "Fuck you. This is mine," she said to the guard as she took a quick step back. "I want to see my brother. Go get my brother right now," she demanded. "Don't you touch me," she said using tools that Seth taught her over the years to make sure she could take care of herself if anyone made an unwanted advance.
