Andrey Kozlov

• Character Information

  Andrey Kozlov was born sometime in 1993 and lived his life within eastern Moscow, not far from Baumanskaya station. Due to this, he and his family were saved during the war of 2013 within the station.
  
  As the years passed, the station would become known for its gift with technology, but all technology needs spare parts and that’s where men like Andrey came in. Over the years, and thanks to the urging of a friend of his, he had become a stalker and over the next few years had developed a reputation as an exceptionally good one.
  
  He lived a comfortable life until he, for reasons unknown, decided to leave Baumanskaya out of the blue with little reason as to why.
  
  And he returned, just as suddenly…

   A Return and a New Life

   September 15

   “Andrey Kozlov…” The security officer said, taking his time with the name. It was not exceptionally hard, but he could tell the man wished to annoy him.
   
   “Andrey Kozlov…” he repeated, and a soft sigh escaped Andrey.
   
   “Good to see you too, Mikhail.” Andrey finally said, looking the man over. He hadn’t aged well. Full head of hair now gone, much like Andrey but at least he had the excuse of radiation rather than old age.
   
   Mikhail only glared at Andrey, soon putting his passport down, perhaps a bit too roughly.
   
   “Why are you back? It’s been what? Ten years? Fifteen?” Mikhail asked and Andrey nodded regretfully.
   
   “…Sixteen. I left in 2019.” He said.
   
   “More like abandoned us!” Mikhail scolded.
   
   “I didn’t aban-“ Andrey tried.
   
   “No, you did! You left with next to little of a word—just said ‘oh I got my reasons’ and then you’re gone. You were one of the first stalkers, one of our best as well; we all thought if anyone could survive it’d be you. But after a few months, after a year, then two, then three—what else were we to think?” Mikhail asked and Andrey could offer no words.
   
   For a moment the two sat in silence until Andrey finally broke it.
   
   “Is Charlotte here?” He asked.
   “Her and all the rest?” He asked a moment later and a slight scoff came from Mikhail.
   
   “I’ve been in my office all day, you’ll need to check yourself.” He said, giving the passport a stamp of approval.
   
   “Now go.” He told the old stalker, tossing his passport across the desk and into the man’s lap.
   
   “Thanks, Mikhail. Glad to be back.” Andrey said, leaving the office and heading off into the station…
