Joseph Sousa
Joseph finally started to recognize some places. There were changes, a lot of changes but that didn't matter, he knew where to go. He had to know where to go. He wasn't going to let that place be the cause of his death. He had to see his daughter again, had to make sure she knew he didn't leave intentionally. It was important to him. Even as he stumbled, he was hungry and thirsty. It had been a day since he had anything to eat or drink but now wasn't the time to dwell on that. He pushed himself back up and forward. Just another mile. Just another step. He could do this. The filter he had was old and probably not even functioning anymore but he was as stubborn as his daughter. By the time he reached the station entrance he could barely stand. The guards were up in arms. "Who the hell are you?" they shouted as he collapsed. "Sousa," he said before he blacked out. The guards scrambled. "Isn't Sousa a woman?" some of them said. "That's what I thought." "Just get him inside and cuff him to the bed. We'll figure it out if he survives." They dragged Joseph into the entrance and decontaminated him before taking him to medical and tying him to the bed before a doctor checked them out. Once he was stable they went and found Joe and told her a guy had asked for her which confused the hell out of her but she went anyways. She figured it was probably the dumb ass vulture hoping she'd not let him get kicked out of Polis or some shit. When she entered the curtained off place she actually stopped dead in her tracks, her hands dropping to her sides as she blinked to be sure it was real. Voldya was behind her. If he tried to go around her she would stop him. "Just give me a second." @AnOriginalAccountNam
Vladimir "Volodya" Grachyov
(OOC: I'm guessing you mean this Voldya? Just to be sure. I'll find a way to throw Misha in there eventually. Stalkers probably go to Polis all the time, Polis usually sends them into the Library if the Kshatryia are unaviable from what I remember) "Wh...What's going on?" Volodya asked, concerning and confusion soon coming into his voice as he tried to peak around Joe. "Is it someone we know--A ranger?" He asked, hoping he wouldn't see one of his brother or sisters in arms dead in there.
Josephine Sousa
Joe put up a finger to try to get him to shut up as she processed it all before she took a step forward and grabbed the man by his shirt and pulled him up and threw him down. "Wake up you fucker," she said to him. "Wake up right now," she said to him. Joseph seemed to come to as he blinked and saw his daughter. "Butter..." she slammed him back into the bed. "You lost the right to call me that you fucking asshole," she growled to him. "Ten years. You've been gone for Ten fucking years! I thought you were dead." "But I..." "I don't don't want to hear it," she said switching into her native language to spew a load of profanities at him. Joseph tried to sit up but he was tied to the bed. "Jojo," he said. "I've been trying to come back." "Yeah right," she said letting him go with a final slam. She turned around toward Voldya as if she was going to walk out but turned around. "Why did you come back?" "For you." She sneered ready to start yelling again but instead turned around to brush past Voldya. "You can let him go. He's not a threat," she muttered Spanish profanities as she walked away as she walked away. @AnOriginalAccountNam
Vladimir "Volodya" Grachyov
@Morrigan Volodya just looked at her confused, too much to try and stop her. "What...what do we do?" A ranger who was standing guard near the man asked, looking down at Joseph before looking back to Volodya. "Keep him here, that's an order!" Volodya said, hurrying after Joe. "Yes, Corporal!" The other ranger yelled out as Volodya catched up with Joe, stepping in front of her and preparing himself for her punch. "Joe, hey--stop! Please--Who was that?!" He asked, by now drawing the attention of passerbys. "What's wrong?" He continued, concerned, seeing Joe pissed off was normal but this seemed like more than just anger, genuine pain, at least to him.
Josephine Sousa
Joe's fingers twitched ready to put it into a fist and turn around and punch him. "It doesn't fucking matter. He's supposed to be dead." @AnOriginalAccountNam
Vladimir "Volodya" Grachyov
@Morrigan "Yeah well...who the hell is he?" Volodya asked gesturing in the direction of Joseph. He was going to say something, but stopped, thinking of a hundred different possibilities, each one seemingly less likely to the last. He doubted the man was some old boyfriend of Joe's, he doubted any man would live after crossing her like that. He also doubted it was some old enemy from the battle field, she was a capable Ranger. Not many bandits or whoever else lived after a run in with Joe, and even if they did it'd be unlikley they'd track her down this far. But it did seem like she knew him, and from a long time ago. Ten years. Family maybe? He had never really bothered asking about family with Joe, once he had learned where she was from he decided it would probably be best to avoid that subject in their conversations and only really picked up the rest from others. He sighed. "Look....it seems you know him." He began. "...This will probably make it's way to the higher ups, I'll lie for you if you need me to Joe, but I need to know. Who is he?" He finally asked, giving a dirty look to a curious passerby who soon walked off, most others had done so by that point as well, seemingly just another day in Polis for them, no time to stop for some little dispute among the Rangers on the platform. Josephine Sousa
Joe glanced over her shoulder, her jaw clenching. "He's my fucking dad," she said to him as she started to walk again. @AnOriginalAccountNam
Vladimir "Volodya" Grachyov
@Morrigan Her dad...? He thought to himself then followed after her. "Well...what happened?--What he'd do? I thought you'd be happy to see some family." Volodya said, finally falling in step with her once again.
Josephine Sousa
"The fucker took off and left me you dumb ass," she nearly growled at the other man. "I was fifteen and the vulture just left me here alone. You're not trying to defend him are you?" she said stopping and looking at him. "Because obviously the pundejo has been alive and he didn't fucking care enough to come home," she pointed out. "I really could have still used a dad at fifteen. I don't need him anymore though." @AnOriginalAccountNam
Vladimir "Volodya" Grachyov
@Morrigan Well this explains a lot... Volodya thought to himself. "I'm not defending him, Joe. He sounds like he deserves alot more than yelling from you." Volodya said confidently then soon returned to his concerned tone, "but..." He began, thinking through his words carefully. "...we should really figure this out. Look he's got to be here for a reason...right? He seems regretful..." Volodya continued then shrugged. "...Maybe he's dying, wants to make some peace? I know you probably don't care but maybe....I don't know, maybe it'd do you some good?" He asked.
Josephine Sousa
"The man has tequila for blood. He's not dying," she said to him. "Sousa's are too stubborn to die of natural causes," she said as she started to walk away again. @AnOriginalAccountNam
Vladimir "Volodya" Grachyov
@Morrigan "Well then why else would he be here?" Volodya asked, following her once more. Yhis was all still somewhat confusing, even a little shocking. But more so he was annoyed, this was going to turn into a long day. "I doubt he's dumb enough to think you'd be ok with him just coming back in to your life out of the blue so somethings gotta be going on." He explained. Josephine Sousa
"Why are you asking me then?" she said looking down her shoulder toward him. "Why don't you ask the asshole on the bed? I'm going to go drink the tequila my friend gave me." @AnOriginalAccountNam
Vladimir "Volodya" Grachyov
@Morrigan Volodya sighed, knowing it'd be best to leave her for now. She'd cool off eventually....well about as much as Joe could. "Ok..." He said then walked off, making his way for the tent, returning to it quickly. "Ok, Arseney. You can go." Volodya ordered to the guard. "What about Joe?" He asked. "She's fine. Go, private, I got this." Volodya ordered and Arseney nodded before walking out. "Alright old man..." Volodya mumbled. "You and I..." he started, grabbing a chair and sitting down in it, knowing he'd probably be here a while. "...are going to have a little conversation." Volodya said, before thinking on where to take all of this.... "Why are you back?...She told me who you are." He explained.
Joseph Sousa
"I came back for her," he said placing a hand on his chest. "I figured she'd be pretty pissed. She's a lot like me in that way," he smirked to himself. "Stubborn, angry at the world and tequila for blood," he said the same thing she did. "I'm proud of her. Looks like she got her shit together," he said. "Also looks like she got in a fight recently. Her knuckles were bloody," he mentioned. @AnOriginalAccountNam
