Dagonet Marcianus
"Can't say that it was," he shook his head while reaching to wind an arm around her waist and give her a quick kiss, "starting to think I should assign you a guard." @Morrigan
Charlotte Daniels
And there it was again. Charlotte sighed instead of answering him. "What are we going to have for dinner then?" She was trying not to show her frustration to the stiflingness of moving to Polis. She probably should have talked about it but it had already been a long day and she figured Dag would think twice about assigning her a personal ranger guard. @Dragon
Dagonet Marcianus
"I haven't thought much about it yet," he answered. It wasn't uncommon for the ranger to forget to eat at all, though that happened less and less since Charlotte had come to stay with him, "Anything you want in particular?" @Morrigan
Charlotte Daniels
"Borscht if they have any. I feel like that's all I'm craving right now," she advised him as she leaned into him more. "Especially after my adventure," it was as close to comfort food as she tended to get since she wasn't back home. @Dragon
Dagonet Marcianus
"That should be easy enough to sniff out," he smiled as they headed deeper into the station. Shortly after they arrived at one of the stalls known for making the dish well. Dag paid up for the order, and once it was passed over the counter they retreated in search of somewhere to settle. @Morrigan
Charlotte Daniels
Once they were settled Charlotte ate a few bites before she stirred it a little. "You're not really going to assign me someone to watch me like a babysitter right?" @Dragon
Dagonet Marcianus
"My rangers have too much on their plate to be playing sitter." @Morrigan
Charlotte Daniels
Charlotte sighed in relief. "Thank god. You really worried me there for a minute. I have to admit I'm going a little stir crazy. Do you think that maybe I can see if another station needs help?" she asked him. @Dragon

Charlotte Daniels
"So you want me to stay in the playpen," she said to him with a frown. @Dragon

Charlotte Daniels
"That's what it sounds like you said. Don't color outside of the lines," she gave him a pursed lip fake smile as she turned to look at and play with her food more. @Dragon
Dagonet Marcianus
"There are plenty of stations that can use help without involving a trek through nosali and bandit infested territory," he answered with an edge of annoyance. @Morrigan
Charlotte Daniels
“There are more outside those lines. Like Oberon,” she said. @Dragon
Dagonet Marcianus
"You aren't the sole mechanical engineer down here, Chuck, stations like Oberon will survive just fine. The pay isn't worth the risk, not right now." @Morrigan
